Principal Biostatistician at Small Danish Firm

CRO

Copenhagen

A bit tired of feeling a bit anonymous in a big corporation? Or perhaps you are simply considering a change in scenery?

We are working with a small Danish CRO that has deliberately kept their staff number in the 10-15 range. All of them are essentially very experienced in the biostatistics and clinical data management field. Whilst we do not necessarily want to use the word “Family” for work, it is the type of place where you can have lunch with most of the colleagues daily (when in the office). So you will definitely be very “familiar” with all of them and be seen internally.

They also offer a 4-day working week which actually means 30 hours and not just longer hours during those days. With that said, you would initially need 5 days whilst being onboarded and completing their training. But realistically this could be done within a couple of months at most.

Of the 4 days you work, you can also spend 1 day at home office with the other 3 on-site together with the rest of your colleagues. This offers a nice balance of face-to-face contact and work from home which is why they instituted it. The office is located around 25 minutes north of Copenhagen by car (from the city centre) and the public transport connections are also good.

They have a strong reputation locally and can truly sell themselves as a Danish company that help local life science companies. Often this would be other smaller pharma or biotech businesses with a promising pipeline in the clinical stages. So you can also expect to work both early and late stage studies.

Given the size of the company, this position is of course very hands-on but also offer a lot of freedom under responsibility. Even the directors are very hands-on so do not have the time or wish to micromanage their employees.

Requirements

Given their profile we are looking at an experienced biostatistician. Exact years is less important, but rather we would need a solid experience within multiple clinical phases as well as submissions.

You will likely also have either a Masters or Ph.D in a relevant statistical field.

Fluency in Danish or at least an ok level would be required as it is a fully Danish business. English is also mandatory naturally.
