Technical Sales Rep – Finland

Tip a friend

Do you enjoy walking customers through the technical workings of your products? OR you would prefer spending more time consulting customers rather than chasing new cold clients?

I am working with an international Labtech company with a longstanding reputation in several industries for their accurate analytical instruments. They are often used in R&D or for QC purposes in industries such as life science, research, food, chemical and battery manufacturing (just to mention a few).

Given their standings in the market and strong lead generation you can expect to work little to nothing with cold leads. In fact, as of today they have been so busy with inbound/warm leads that this has taken up most of their time, so you can focus more on consulting customers that already expressed an interest rather than trying to find new companies to sell to.

And if you are really into the technical aspects you may also be happy to hear that all Sales Reps in this company are part of installing the instruments as well. But there are also multiple service engineers that take care of both the scheduled maintenance and emergency support, so your focus is still on selling.

You will also receive a nice commission on each sale made (uncapped), meaning you will really be rewarded for selling above target. And even just being on target would likely see you earning 20%+ in bonus (paid quarterly). You get a car as well on top of your basic salary which we are happy to discuss more and dependent on experience and previous results shown.

Location & Travel

Travelling may vary and you have the freedom to plan your own trips. This may mean some overnight stays during one week, but others where you only visit local customers. Most of the customers are found around Helsinki, Turku and Tampere. So being based in this area is ideal.

You will also have 4 Finnish colleagues to go along with several others in the Nordic. There is a local office in Helsinki.
