You Will

You will join our dynamic CMO group comprising 15 talented specialists. As a key player in the team, you will take ownership of managing and executing customer projects while ensuring a seamless transition through process development, scale-up, and in-house manufacturing. Working closely with various stakeholders, you will lead project teams, collaborate with specialists, and engage with customers and consultants to develop robust strategies for protein manufacturing. Your technical expertise will be crucial in supervising skilled personnel, establishing downstream and formulation processes, and ensuring the production of high-quality proteins, including process enzymes and early-stage API versions. Additionally, your familiarity with quality control (QC) procedures will be valuable in preparing documentation for product approval or transferring manufacturing processes to external entities. Alongside your CMC team, you will actively participate in equipment maintenance, audits, troubleshooting, commissioning of new equipment, and other essential tasks that arise within a dynamic medium-sized company.

You Have

  • A relevant education like M.Sc. or Ph.D. degree within e.g. biochemistry, protein chemistry, or process technology.
  • At least 3 to 5 years of documented experience with downstream manufacturing processes.
  • Documented experience from the CMO industry or like preferably with managing projects
  • The ability to plan, execute and report development studies.
  • Good collaboration skills.
  • The ability to head and motivate a small group of technicians and scientists.
  • The personality traits to be responsible, flexible, and you’re a highly motivated team player with commitment, initiative and humor.
